Jeanne et Moreau

In 2018, Jeanne et Moreau was born. The artist duo, comprising of Lara Tabet and Randa Mirza, came to be as a result of the two artists questioning their new digital technologies and their place in the world as queer women artists.
Their work, referencing the data encryption system, draws on their common image bank, and accompanies the trajectory of their couple as well as their relationship to the photographic medium. Jeanne et Moreau also reflect on the contexts of production, transmission, sharing, and the reception of images.
